Politics overshadowed music’s biggest night, the Grammy Awards, with the host and some of the musicians using the opportunity to slam President Donald Trump over his recent actions.
The 68th Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles saw Bad Bunny grabbing three awards including Album of the Yea.
Kendrick Lamar won the Record of the Year, Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap Performance.
Billie Eilish O’Connell and Finneas O’Connell won the Song of Year award for “WILDFLOWER”.
Meanwhile Lady Gaga won the award for Best Pop Vocal Album for “MAYHEM” and “Anxiety” by Doechii won Best Music Video.
Golden, the breakout hit from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters, was named Best Song for Visual Media – earning the K-pop genre its first ever Grammy Award.

The biggest spotlight during the awards ceremony was on the comments made against President Donald Trump and ICE.
Comedian and host Trevor Noah took a hit at Nicki Minaj saying she was not at the show as she was at the White House with Trump discussing very important issues. Minaj had recently expressed support for Trump.
After winning Album of the Year, Bad Bunny declared “ICE out”, targeting the crackdown by ICE on immigrants in the US.
Trump later slammed the awards show and also threatened to sue Noah over his comments.
The US President called Noah a “total loser” adding that he was going to have some “fun” with the host.
