The spirit of the festive season came alive at the Samudra Ballroom, where Taj Samudra, Colombo hosted its traditional Christmas Cake-Mixing Ceremony — a much-awaited annual celebration that marks the joyful beginning of the holiday season.
The event was graced by Samrat Datta, Area Director – Taj Maldives & Sri Lanka and General Manager of Taj Samudra, along with the hotel’s team, and distinguished guests.
Together, they joined in the timeless ritual of cake mixing, blending an array of dry fruits, candied peels, spices, and spirits — a tradition symbolizing abundance, togetherness, and the sharing of festive joy.
