The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack logs a second non-consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. This follows the film’s staggering 15th consecutive week in the Netflix Top 10 during the Sept. 22-28 viewing window, when it became the longest-running title ever on the English-language films chart.

The soundtrack tops the albums chart with 102,000 equivalent album units earned (down 2%) in the United States in the week ending Oct. 2, according to Luminate. The 12-song record first reached No. 1 on the Sept. 20-dated list.

At the center of the film is the fictional girl group, Huntr/x, portrayed by Ejae, Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna. All three of the singers delivered a surprise performance on the series premiere of “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend in a skit alongside Bad Bunny. They will also deliver the first complete and on-air performance of their smash hit “Golden” on Oct. 7 on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.”

Of KPop Demon Hunters’ 102,000 equivalent album units earned in the latest tracking week, the record accumulated 117 million on-demand official streams. Album sales comprised 16,000 sales of the overall 102,000 total.

There were several debuts in the Top 10 this week, with Doja Cat’s latest offering, the 80s-inspired “Vie,” being the highest-charting debut at No. 4. The 15-song set debuts with 57,000 units earned and nearly 41 million official streams with album sales totaling 26,000.

Mariah Carey also lands in the Top 10 with “Here for It All” at No. 7 with 47,000 equivalent album units earned in its first week. Rising artist Olivia Dean’s “The Art of Loving” debuts at No. 8 and P1Harmony’s “EX” enters at No. 9. (Variety.com)
